Welcome to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center "For Physicians" section. There's a good reason we've been recognized as one of the best hospitals in the region for more than 20 years. Our medical staff is second to none.
Baltimore Washington Medical Center was one of the first community hospitals to require all new physicians to be board-certified/admissible in their individual specialties. The tradition of quality and innovation continued when the hospital created one of the first clinical pathway programs designed to decrease variation in quality and improve patient safety.
Our medical staff includes board-certified physicians in almost every major specialty and subspecialty. Our capabilities are augmented through our affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Medicine, giving patients access to academic physicians and cutting-edge medicine.
